System Information

Following is a list of commands you can get information about your system. Some commands are system specific i.e. will work on debian, but not on freebsd.

1)   # uname -mrs
2)   # dmesg | grep CPU
3)   # dmesg | grep memory
4)   # sysctl -a | less
5)   # uptime
6)   # last -1 reboot
7)   # last -1 shutdown
8)   # swapinfo -k
9)   # cat /proc/cpuinfo
10) # cat /proc/meminfo
