Below you will find a form to generate you a config file so you can quickly and easily get your eggdrop underway. Although we do suggest that you fully read and understand the config file (eggdrop.conf) distributed with your eggdrop. This will enable you to obtain a better understanding of your eggdrop and enable you to exploit extra functionality from unloaded modules.
I hope you find this page useful. We rely on you to inform us of any inaccuracies that exist.
If you choose View config, you will need to copy the output text into a plain text file and save it - preferebly naming the config to somthing simple e.g. mybot.conf.
Alternatively if you choose to download the config directly, you will already have the file mentioned above called egg.conf - you can rename this if you like.
Once you have this file upload it to your eggdrop directory and you should be ready to go (./eggdrop -m egg.conf) - assuming that you have already compiled your bot.
One further note for windows users. You will need to modify the path to the temp (tmp) directory. Just remove the leading / and you should be ok. Also the host and ip you should use should correspond to the machine the bot is running from.
